" We leveraged the considerable expertise of Merger Managers to create an enterprise wide core competency for integration management.

Merger Managers conducted a qualitative integration readiness assessment and provided recommendations for process re-engineering. Merger Managers assisted in internal executive meetings to obtain management buy-in and emphasize the necessity of early integration planning, dedicated integration leaders and derived value from successful integration. Merger Managers provided key design, content and delivery components in training over 200 internal integration leaders.

As we identified our need for more effective integration planning and execution, Merger Managers succeeded in helping us develop a repeatable process based on cross industry best practices to maximize deal value and measure acquisition success. "

" Having been through several acquisitions, I can attest to the necessity of the processes and tools developed by Merger Managers.
While the deal may look good on paper, to learn how to effectively integrate one company with another is the critical element. By ignoring this fact, you are guaranteeing problems and essentially placing the entire investment at risk before you even get started. Robert Doretti

Statistics show that 55 to 80 percent of mergers and acquisitions fail to meet the objectives they were originally designed to achieve. Rather than attributing such failure to weakness in business strategy or financial models, research indicates that the most common source of failure can be traced to poorly planned and executed integrations. In the light of the fact that billions of dollars are spent on mergers and acquisitions each year, extensive time and resources are dedicated to the transaction, and so much rides upon the subsequent outcome, it is more important than ever for companies to be proactive in the integration planning stage of their merger or acquisition.

In order to meet this need, Merger Mangers has developed solutions designed to educate executives on how to successfully plan and integrate their mergers and acquisitions. For serial acquirers (companies purchasing at least one company every two years) to one time acquirers (companies only planning one acquisition), from culture to technology, from pre-due diligence to post-close, Merger Managers has developed proven processes, tools, templates, and techniques to guide companies in their integration efforts.
